A strong interior design project page tells a short story: who the client was, what they needed, how you solved it and what the finished space looks like. That structure gives search engines clear topics to understand and gives prospective clients the proof they want before they enquire.
Start with the brief
Describe the client type, the property and the problem in a few sentences. For example, a narrow kitchen that needed storage, or a shared office that needed to feel welcoming. Specific briefs attract specific searches and specific clients.
Show the process
Explain how you approached the work: concept, materials, layout decisions and any constraints such as budget or timing. Process is what separates a designer from a gallery of pictures, and it is rich in natural keywords.

Hand it over and get back to running your business.
Present the result
- Lead with your best image and give it descriptive alt text.
- Add before and after images where you have them.
- Name the room type, style and area in the text, truthfully.
Add a client quote
A genuine comment about the experience builds trust and often mentions the exact service the next client wants.
Link the page into your site
Link from the project to the related service page, and from the service page back to your best examples. See my worked example on optimising a service page for the structure. Also read the guide to pillar pages to see how project pages can support a main service page.
End with a clear next step
Tell visitors how to start: a consultation form, a phone number or a short questionnaire. Keep it simple.
Frequently asked questions
How long should a project page be?
Long enough to explain the brief, approach and result. A few hundred words plus photos is a good starting point.
Do I need permission to publish a client’s home?
Get written consent and respect privacy, such as hiding addresses and personal items.
