My SEO services in Lahore are built for a city that trades in seasons: lawn launches, Eid and wedding collections, admission cycles and property booms. I work with Lahore businesses remotely from Karachi, in the same time zone and in English or Urdu, and travel to meet when a project needs it. The work focuses on what usually holds Lahore sites back: structures that have outgrown their original build, branch details nobody can find, and searches typed in a mix of English and Roman Urdu.
Who I work with in Lahore
Lahore’s economy gives its websites a particular shape. The businesses I see most are:
- Clothing and fashion brands. A large share of Pakistan’s lawn, pret and festive-wear e-commerce is run from Lahore, with stores adding hundreds of products every season. See my notes for fashion brands.
- Software houses and IT firms around Arfa Software Technology Park, Gulberg and DHA, whose own marketing sites often trail behind the products they build.
- Schools, colleges, academies and test-prep centres in Johar Town, Model Town and Faisal Town, where demand peaks around admissions and results.
- Real estate covering DHA, Bahria Town, Lake City and newer housing schemes along the Raiwind Road and Ring Road corridors.
- Manufacturers and exporters in Sundar Industrial Estate, Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate and along Multan Road, plus textile and leather suppliers selling to buyers abroad.
- Restaurants, clinics and salons in MM Alam Road, Gulberg, DHA and the old city, competing on the map and on foodpanda.
Trust carries particular weight here. Word of mouth still drives many decisions, so reviews, a real address and named people on the website matter as much as rankings.
How Lahore customers find businesses on Google
Lahoris search by area and by landmark. Typical queries look like “bridal boutique Liberty Market”, “skin specialist Gulberg”, “O level academy Johar Town”, “plot for sale DHA Phase 9 Prism”, “lawn sale 2 piece” or “Hall Road mobile repair”. Many are in Roman Urdu or mixed: “kapray ki dukaan Anarkali”, “sasta lawn suit”, “tuition centre near me Wapda Town”.
| Area or cluster | Typical searches | What tends to win |
|---|---|---|
| Gulberg, MM Alam Road, Liberty | Restaurants, boutiques, salons, clinics | Strong Google profile, photos, review volume, menus and booking links |
| DHA, Bahria Town, Lake City | Property, schools, private clinics, home services | Phase and block level pages, clear service areas, current listings |
| Johar Town, Model Town, Faisal Town | Academies, colleges, test prep, tuition | Programme pages with fees, dates and entry criteria in HTML, not only PDFs |
| Anarkali, Ichhra, Hall Road, Shah Alam | Fabric, wholesale, electronics, mobile accessories | Exact shop names, correct pins in dense markets, WhatsApp numbers that answer |
| Sundar, Kot Lakhpat, Multan Road | Manufacturers, suppliers, exporters | Product and capability pages in formal English for trade buyers |
Enquiries rarely start with a website form. They arrive on WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, Facebook pages, Daraz for retail, foodpanda for food and OLX or Zameen-style property portals for real estate. I treat these as one footprint, with the same name, address and number everywhere and links back to your own site so Google can tie them together.
Why Lahore clothing brands lose rankings between collections
The fashion trading rhythm is seasonal: summer lawn launch, Eid collections, wedding season, winter wear, then clearance. Every drop adds products, colour and size variants and campaign pages, and every season end removes them. The pattern I see most is a URL such as /lawn-volume-2/ that collects links and rankings for three months, then gets deleted when the next volume arrives. The rankings go with it. Sold-out products return thin pages or 404 errors, and filter combinations create thousands of crawlable URLs that soak up Google’s attention.
The fix is structural:
- Evergreen collection URLs. Keep /lawn/, /eid-collection/ and /winter/ permanent and rotate the products inside, so each season inherits the authority of the last.
- A sold-out rule. Products people still search for stay live with stock status and links to similar pieces; the rest redirect to their parent collection.
- Filter control. Only filters with real demand (a fabric type, for example) are indexable, each with its own title and copy. My guide on optimising faceted navigation explains the approach.
- Launch-day readiness. New collection pages are linked from the homepage and listed in the sitemap before the campaign goes live, not after the Instagram posts are out.
Deeper store work sits under my e-commerce SEO services.
Faults I keep finding on Lahore websites
Outside fashion, the problems change with the sector. These come up most often, roughly in the order I would fix them:
- Duplicate domains. The site answers on .pk, .com.pk and .com, with and without www, and none redirect to one version, so signals split across copies.
- Staging sites in the index. A dev subdomain was never blocked, so Google holds two versions of every page.
- JavaScript-only portfolios. Software houses build marketing sites with client-side rendering; service pages arrive as near-empty HTML for crawlers. See JavaScript SEO best practices.
- Thin property listings. A page for every plot or file, mostly near-duplicates that expire quickly and drag down the society, phase and block guides that should rank.
- Camera-sized images. Lifestyle photography uploaded straight from the shoot, the slowest thing on a phone using mobile data.
- Script pile-up. WhatsApp widgets, several pixels, review apps and pop-ups loading before the page becomes usable on mid-range Android phones.
- Branch details on one page. A school or restaurant with branches in Gulberg, DHA and Johar Town lists every address on one contact page, so no branch ranks for searches near it.
- Redirect chains after redesigns. Each new agency added redirects on top of the last, leaving chains and sometimes loops.
Most of these sit under technical SEO; speed work is covered under website speed optimisation.
Urdu, Roman Urdu and education admissions
Urdu-script pages are a technical matter: real Unicode text, their own URLs, marked with lang=”ur” and dir=”rtl”, paired with English pages through hreflang where one translates the other, and Nastaliq fonts that load without blocking the page. Roman Urdu is a content decision, because no tag can tell Google “this is Roman Urdu”. Ranking for those searches means using the phrases customers type in headings, product descriptions and FAQs.
For schools and academies, timing matters more than anything. Admissions pages need to be updated and indexed weeks before forms open, with fees, dates, eligibility and the campus address on the page itself. I plan education content around matric, intermediate and O/A level results and university entry test calendars, so pages are ranking when parents start searching, not after.
What I deliver for Lahore businesses
- A full crawl, Search Console index review and Core Web Vitals field data for your main templates.
- A domain, redirect and duplicate-content audit with a prioritised fix list written for your developer or software house: affected URLs, cause, change and how to check it worked.
- Collection, category and filter rules for seasonal stores, and an Eid and wedding season content calendar.
- Branch pages with their own address, hours, map and LocalBusiness schema, matching each branch’s Google Business Profile, plus the map work in my local SEO services.
- Keyword maps pairing English terms with the Roman Urdu phrasing Lahore customers use.
- Redesign and migration support: URL mapping, staging checks and a post-launch review.
- Monthly reporting in plain language, separating map, organic, marketplace and WhatsApp enquiries.
A 90-day plan for a Lahore site
| Phase | What I do | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Weeks 1 to 3 | Crawl, index review, domain and staging checks, Core Web Vitals on key templates | A ranked fix list your developer can act on immediately |
| Weeks 4 to 6 | Redirects, canonical and filter rules, image and script clean-up | A site Google crawls efficiently and that loads properly on mobile data |
| Weeks 7 to 9 | Collection, programme or service pages rewritten, branch pages and schema | Pages built around real Lahore searches, ready before the next season |
| Weeks 10 to 13 | Google profiles, reviews routine, seasonal content and links | Local visibility by area and a plan for the next quarter |
Technical fixes can show within weeks once Google recrawls. Ranking movement in competitive categories such as fashion or DHA property usually takes three to six months, and I will not promise a position.
What affects scope and cost
The main factors are site size (a 3,000-product lawn store is not a 20-page clinic), the platform (Shopify, WordPress or a custom build), whether I or your developer implement the fixes, the number of branches and how close your next season or admission cycle is. I quote in rupees after a first look.
Working with me from Karachi
Most of my Lahore work is with a marketing lead plus either an in-house developer or an outside software house. We share a working week, so calls happen in normal hours on Google Meet, Zoom or WhatsApp. When an in-person session helps, such as a kickoff with your team or a pre-launch review, I can travel to Lahore. If you also have customers in other cities, see my Karachi SEO services or the wider SEO services in Pakistan. Examples of my reporting are in the case studies.
Frequently asked questions
My clothing store runs on Shopify. Is there still technical work to do?
Yes, though it looks different from a custom build. Shopify handles hosting and much of the basic setup, but collection filters, duplicate product paths, app scripts and theme image handling are common sources of trouble for stores with large seasonal catalogues. The work is mostly theme and app configuration.
We redesign every couple of years. How do we stop losing traffic each time?
Bring me in before the new site launches. I map every old URL with traffic or links to its new equivalent, check the staging build for crawl and rendering problems and review the live site after launch. Most losses come from missing redirects and “discourage search engines” settings carried over from staging.
We have branches across Lahore. Do we need a page for each one?
If each branch serves people searching nearby, yes. Each page should carry its own address, hours, map and branch details and match that branch’s Google Business Profile. A single page listing every address rarely ranks for any of them.
Do you work with schools and academies on admissions?
Yes. Admissions SEO has its own seasonal pattern, so I plan programme pages, fee and date updates and Google profile changes around your intake calendar rather than a generic monthly schedule.
Can you work with our existing software house?
Yes, and it is the most common setup. I write fixes in a format developers can pick up directly and review their changes before they go live.
Will you come to Lahore?
Day-to-day work is remote, which keeps costs down. For kickoffs, team training or a major launch, I can travel to meet you.
If your Lahore site has grown faster than its structure, request a free SEO audit of your main templates and I will tell you which issues are worth fixing first.
