Organization schema tells search engines who your business is: its name, website, logo, official profiles and contact details. It does not guarantee a special result, but accurate markup helps search engines connect your site to your brand and keeps your details consistent across the web.
The core properties
- name: your official business name.
- url: your main website address.
- logo: a link to your logo image.
- sameAs: links to your official profiles elsewhere.
- contactPoint: a way to reach you.
Logo guidance
Use a clear, crawlable logo file that suits being shown small, and keep it at a sensible size. Google recommends a logo at least 112 by 112 pixels. Make sure the image address works and is not blocked.

What sameAs does
The sameAs property lists your official profiles, such as social accounts and business listings. It helps search engines confirm these belong to the same entity. Only list profiles you control.
Keep details consistent
The name, address and phone number in your markup should match the page and your listings. Check this with the NAP consistency checker.
Where to place it
Usually on the homepage or an about page, rather than on every page. Generate valid code with the schema markup generator. For location-based businesses, read how to use schema for local SEO.
